What we do
At Printing Impact, we believe that small actions can have a huge ripple effect. Based in British Columbia, Canada, we’re a group of passionate 3D printing hobbyists who’ve come together with one goal: to use our skills and resources to help those in need.
We partner with local charities to create household goods, toys, and art for individuals and communities who need them most. By tapping into the unused capacity of our 3D printers, we’re able to produce thousands of items throughout each campaign—items that bring joy, support, and opportunity to those less fortunate.
It’s more than just printing. It’s about giving back, coming together as a community, and making a meaningful impact. Every item we produce is a reflection of the time, talent, and care our team dedicates to creating something that truly matters.

A Message from the Founder of Printing Impact, Sean
The genesis of Printing Impact began during the early days of COVID-19 in 2021. I joined a local community of 3D printing hobbyists to help create masks and straps for hospitals and schools in the Vancouver area. Witnessing how quickly and passionately the 3D printing community rallied together to make a difference during such a challenging time was an incredibly rewarding experience.
I realized that this collective effort didn’t have to end with the pandemic, and I wanted to continue using my love for 3D printing to help others. Over the next couple of years, I partnered with Family Services – North Shore (North Vancouver) to create 3D-printed toys and holiday decorations for those in need during the Christmas season. Those projects were always incredibly fulfilling, but they also sparked a bigger idea: what if we could use this amazing technology and vibrant community of hobbyists to make an impact all year round, reaching thousands of people in need?
And that’s where Printing Impact was born. Today, we’re focused on changing lives and spreading hope through the power of 3D printing. I’m proud to be part of a movement that’s turning creativity, passion, and community into something that can truly make a difference.
